Whenever I take a sip of my favorite drink, which is coffee, I just know that I am on to something great. There is absolutely no question about that, and millions all over the world are in agreement with me on that one. I am more than just a regular coffee drinker, I actually close to being addicted to it, judging by the way I am always craving for its great taste and delicious aroma. The way it seems to me, the scent and taste of coffee just follows me around all day long, with no let up whatsoever. Even if it feels that way, there is just no way that I am going to grow tired of my favorite brew. This feeling within me says I would enjoy drinking coffee for many more years hence are growing stronger with each passing day.

Coffee just seems to dominate my world. That feeling and impression is just helped by the fact that my entire family consists of inveterate coffee drinkers. Everyone in the family has their own coffee experience to share, and mine involves those lovely little cups where coffee is placed for service. There are many kinds of cups like those, but my personal favorites are the demitasse cups, especially the one which has some designs or features certain things regarding specific countries, like the flag. Those cups just look so cute and it is just so fun to be drinking from each one of them. My latest acquisitions are a couple of good looking demitasse cups with Cuban flag designs. If you happen to have any roots from a country like it, you would sure love to drink from these cups. The Cuban coffee cups with Cuba flag are quickly becoming favorites within the house for my family, being the most frequently used.

My Preferred Coffee Maker

I am a self confessed coffee addict. There, I said it already, and I definitely do not have any intention of taking it back. The truth is that almost everyone who knows me is aware of my condition as someone who is indeed addicted to one of the world’s favorite drinks. If I could have things my way, I would make sure that I drink it all the time or maybe perhaps about at least six times for each day. Of course, some would be quick to point out that it is not a healthy thing to do, that there might be repercussions when it comes to my health and all that. Although I can cite a few things to counter that, it would just be best to keep the peace instead of let any coffee related debate start. What is important is that I love coffee and that I enjoy it every single day.

Incidentally, I just had my house built, and I am now in the process of furnishing its interiors. Of course I am having some provisions installed that are entirely related to my coffee addiction. For instance, I had a coffee corner built in a corner of the kitchen, which is very spacious and can accommodate up to three people. When I was shopping for a new coffee maker to be placed there, I noticed that the blood red coffee maker is in demand. It turned out that the color red was the one color that would be perfectly suited to any kind of décor that is placed within the home, particularly the kitchen. I said to myself, well that’s something new that I learned. So it was that it affected my purchase entirely, as I bought a couple of
red coffee makers

to put in my little coffee corner. It suddenly became my preferred coffee maker, even if only for the color.

My Demitasse Cup Collection

I am a coffee lover and I really take it seriously. What I mean by being serious about my love for coffee is that I never miss drinking my three or four cups of brew for each day. And I also make it a point to drink nothing but the brews available, and those that are particularly delicious to my taste. The truth though, is that I find almost every kind of coffee delicious, so it safe to say that I love all kinds of coffee, and there are no exceptions to that. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that I am a lover of everything there is about coffee, without any exceptions at all. Yes, I do believe that it would be the correct statement to make. In my home, there is no room for any other drink besides coffee, except maybe for water and nothing else.

The great love that I have for coffee has also led me to be a collector of items that are related to my favorite drink. Yes, I have to those lengths of actually collecting anything related to coffee that I might find that I like, which is always a certainty. My biggest collection involves coffee cups. I have a wide, wide selection. I have large cups, small ones, plain types, and even elaborately designed ones. My favorite however, and the fastest growing ones in my collection are the Demitasse cups with Cuban flag on it. I don’t know I particularly picked the ones with the Cuban flag on it, since I don’t have any Cuban roots, I guess it just seemed nice to me. My collection of Cuban coffee cups with Cuba flag is really growing now, and it would only be a matter of time before its total would probably exceed that of everything else that I have.

My Flaming Red Coffee Maker

Drinking a steamy cup of my favorite is like therapy to me. It always makes me feel great when I do that. Whenever I feel burned out or stressed out about something, anything, then I just go to the kitchen and fix myself up with a cup or two of coffee, and that automatically makes everything much better. It won’t solve the problems, of course, that is simply not possible, but it helps me in coping with every single worry that I face everyday. Truth of the matter is, I don’t know why or how coffee does that for me, but it certainly matters little when compared to all the good that it is able to bring to me. And what is even more astonishing is that I enjoy my coffee even if it is just the instant powdered variety. I do not need the more expensive types just to be satisfied.

I have a coffee maker in the kitchen, and I have been using it for over a year now. I do love my single serve coffee cups even though I can go for some instant goodness from time to time. Its color is flaming red, and I just love the way it looks. When I was just looking for a coffee maker, I noticed that the popular one is the blood red coffee maker. I did some research and found that it was so because the color red is the one color that blends in best with wall the kitchen decors that are used today. So, I said to myself, that’s why red coffee makers are just seemed to be more popular than anything else. It had a practical reason behind it after all, and not just because it was the current rage at the time or anything like that.

How To Choose an Excellent Espresso Machines

If you are currently looking for an espresso machine, you have to know that the machine has 4 types in total. You have to decide which type to go with to make sure you will get the best espresso shot.

Generally, not all of those 4 types are good. Only the pump type that has got the attention from experts. The reason is because only on this pump espresso machine, user will get the best temperature and pressure to make the best espresso shot. Experts are advising buyers to get an espresso maker that has pressure above 9-bar, preferably machine that has 15-bar is suitable to squeeze out the crema.

the best espresso is made with a combination of several things like 1.5 ounces pre-heated (195-degree F) water, 7 grams finely ground coffee and forceful pressure to brew the espresso within 20 to 25 seconds.

That’s why the pressure is very important when making a cup of tasty espresso. A successful espresso shot is indicated by the thick crema topped the espresso. If there is no such thing on your shot with your old machine, that’s mean it’s time for you to get a replacement machine for a better result.

Technically speaking, it’s advisable for you to find an espresso machine that is large, sturdy and strong looking instead of those that has great design but has got a thin body. Strong one can endure more abuse and it’s likely to last longer, especially the type that will brew espresso from manual ground coffee (not the coffee pods type).

There is concept stating that only machine that worth $200 or more is great for making the best espresso. Even better, on this price range, the espresso machine will be paired with a bunch of useful additional functionality like a big drips tray, built-in milk frother, self-priming option to keep the temperature correct, a cup warmer, and big water tank.

Especially on cup warmer, warming a cup before pouring down the espresso will make sure the espresso’s temperature in the best degree without much of it leaking away. A lukewarm espresso is always better than ice cold espresso. Though it’s really the matter of each user’s taste anyway.

To sum it up, what you have to search for when trying to get an excellent espresso machines are drill down to the following list:

  • First, make sure the espresso machine has above 9-bar pump pressure. The more the better!
  • Second, make sure you are looking for the espresso maker with $200 price tag or more – It’s a must if you are looking for mid-class machine that will produce thick crema
  • Last but not least, look for the additional features. Most important one: Cup warmer, large water tank and deep drips tray.

Most espresso machine on the range of $200 or above doesn’t come with any built-in coffee bean grinder and your choice has it, don’t buy it. The reason is because espresso machine is kind of sensitive to the ground coffee “smoothness”. Cheap built-in grinder will never produce “finely” ground coffee and it will make the nozzle in the espresso machine (like Delonghi EC702 15-Bar Pump Espresso machine) to leak after you’ve made a shot of espresso.

Aim for the machine that is coming with integrated E.S.E. filter technology (for espresso pods) if you are lazy handling the ground coffee problem.

That’s it! Hope it’s useful for you on your journey to get your own best espresso machine to make your own best shot of cafe-quality espresso!

Coffee Pods For Coffee Enjoyment

Coffee pods brewer machines are the most convenient way of making coffee known to man, apart from grabbing your latte in the local coffee shop, of course. They are heavily marketed, which makes some people cautious about buying one. Are they really that good, or is there a catch to know about? Well, read on to gain more knowledge about pod coffee than you had before.

Coffee pod makers are working through the same principal as the conventional machines. They boil the water and drip 92 C water through the ground coffee beans to achieve the best flavor possible. The similarities end right about there. The beans you put in are ground and packed into a paper pouch along with the filter. Every pod is good for only one cup of coffee and you need to throw it away afterwards.

It wouldn’t be a problem, speaking from comfortability point of view it certainly isn’t. But think about the environment for a second before you invest your money into such a machine. Is it what you really want to do? It’s a nuance of a difference compared to normal machines, but it’s certainly there.

Their other problem come from the packaging as well. It’s very easy to grab a bag, put it into the right slot, press a button and take the mug, right? But when you think about it for a second it also means that you can use only those pods that are made exactly for your model. It makes using your favorite brand coffee virtually impossible, but there are attempts from coffee companies to make these pods on their own. Don’t bet with a large sum on that it will be available, though.

Reading this article only this far would give you the impression that pod coffee is the drink of Evil, which is not true obviously. There are certain benefits that are hard to beat with any other piece of technology. The small bags can be noted in the list of benefits as well. For example, have you ever bought a bag of coffee just to realize that the taste is not for you? A normal bag of it costs about $6 to $10 per pound, so if you buy a two pound bag you can drink all of it or be out of $16 by throwing or giving it away. You’ll never go wrong with 100 Kona coffee.

With the pods you can’t go wrong, you can buy just a pack of three or five of them and try different types without having to do anything with them. Even the worst of the worst coffee can be good enough on a really bad morning when there is nothing else around, right?

Making Gourmet Coffee in a Tassimo Coffee Machine

Have you just recently bought a Tassimo coffee machine? If so, then this article will be beneficial to you as it will show you the proper way to use this coffee maker. Here are the basic steps in using this type of brewer.

  • First and foremost, you should have a supply of Tassimo T Discs as these are the only types of coffee containers that can be used in this brewer. There are K Cups and coffee pods but these coffee containers are not compatible with the Tassimo brand.
  • You need one or two types of T Discs to make a particular brewed beverage in your coffee maker. Although some coffee and tea drinks only require 1 disc, most selections from this brand of brewer require 2 discs as an accompanying milk disc will make a particular type of drink more delicious and delectable. Preparation of specialty drinks like Latte and Cappuccino will therefore take a longer time as a coffee disc will need to be processed first before a milk disc can be added for a frothy milk surface.
  • Keep in mind that you should insert the coffee discs properly in order for the unit’s bar code reader to be able to read the label on the discs. A bar code is printed on the top portion of the T Disc as this will contain all the necessary information and direction as to how a particular drink has to be prepared.
  • Always have a mug placed under the brewer’s spout as your drink will be poured directly on your cup right after the brewing process. And since brewing time only takes about 1 minute per T Disc, your complete beverage can be prepared in as fast as 2 minutes.

Those are the basic steps that you need to do in order to operate your Tassimo properly. You will also be glad to know that the unit requires minimal clean up as the brewing process always happens inside the T Discs. The inside portion of your device will therefore remain clean all the time as there will be no spills of coffee inside.
