The Unusual Coffee Drinker

Unusual is the word that can best describe me in connection with my favorite hobby. That has something to do with my love for coffee, which I consider to be a hobby, however different that may seem to some. I am a very avid coffee drinker, and I have been one ever since I was a little kid. Being a kid back then, I wasn’t really discouraged because the rest of my family was pretty avid drinkers of coffee as well. In fact, it was even encouraged in the family, even among us kids at the time. So it just grew from there, and today I am as big a fan of coffee and perhaps even bigger.

Now about what I said about being unusual, that stems from the fact that I favor decaffeinated coffee now. Yes I prefer it over espresso and other richer coffee blends that are available out there. And you can bet that I have tasted most, if not all the coffee flavors and brands out there. Somehow, along the way I just found the taste of decaf to be much better than any other coffee flavor there is, at least that’s how I feel about it. You can be sure that I have heard a lot of jeers and kidding from my family because of my preference.

I don’t worry about anything that’s being said about decaf, I love its taste and that’s all that matters. Everything else that’s being mentioned about it, such as does decaf coffee dehydrate you doesn’t bother me at all. I mean there are sorts of things being said about not just decaf but coffee in general, like does black coffee have calories and things like that. I simply go on loving and enjoying my several cups of decaffeinated coffee every day.
